About BookPlayhouse

BookPlayhouse is a free website of story games for children aged 2 to 5. It was started in 2026 and is owned and operated by Scalebloom, a web design company in Charlotte, North Carolina.

How to play

Pick a book on the home page. The arrow buttons walk left and right, and the big button (or the space bar) does the next thing in the story. Every line is read aloud, so your child doesn't need to read.

Nothing in a game can be failed or lost. There are no ads, accounts or purchases.
